Jim Allan
Biography
Jim Allan has had a varied career after graduating from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc.
He spent four years in the Canadian Armed forces, prior to joining Bell Canada, the major Canadian Telephone company. The first half of his 34-year career in Bell was in operations (construction and maintenance) and the latter half in health and safety in both a regional and corporate basis. He has been actively involved in the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering for almost 20 years, serving in all executive committee positions within that organization.
He now is President of his own H&S consulting company and has been appointed to INSHPO as CSSE's representative.
